I think it's an easy call on a normal .5/1 table. Folding may be the correct play on the 2+2 table.

Re: 2+2 Hand : UTG PFR folded to you in BB with AJs..Your Move?
As I pointed out at the table, UTG raises actually mean LESS in this game. If you've got a playable hand, you can't limp with it, so if you've got say 77, you'll open with it from UTG.
I still probably don't make that call, just because on principle it's bad, but if you were trying to make money for some sick reason at a TAG table like ours, I think you call or maybe even 3-bet. |

Re: 2+2 Hand : UTG PFR folded to you in BB with AJs..Your Move?
Depends on UTGs raising standards. If the raiser is hardcore TAG, I will fold. If I am confident that they will out-play me and I will never know where I am at, I will fold.
If I think they have looser raising standards, I will re-raise. I think the right play is player-dependent. |

I [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] AJs, I'm surprised it should be a fold in this situation, but I do understand why.

Re: 2+2 Hand : UTG PFR folded to you in BB with AJs..Your Move?
It's the same as on here.
On a regular table I'd call. On the 2+2 table I'd fold, because you probably want to respect a preflop raise from a player you know to be a very good TAG. You just don't have the edge. However, the nature of the 2+2 table is unlike any table you'd see, and the raising standards almost go down because you can't limp, and you know that your raises will get tons of respect. I don't think calling here is horrible, just make sure you can let go if the flop doesn't hit you right. |
