Default Folding machine

Besides the BB I folded 231 hands in a row preflop. Couldn't get 1 playable hand. What is your record?

I didn't fold all of 'em, but today I didn't win a single pot in 110 hands.

231 is amazing.

I couldn't belive it J 7, Q 4, 2 8, kept getting these hands over and over. Then I would get baby suited in ep. Can't wait to get on a rush.

Thats why you are playing microlimit.. if you are playing that tight it is impossible to win at any larger limits... Youhave to play hands like KQs and AJs and 88 99, etc. I have a hard time believing that you are playing these hands if you didn't play a hand for that long... If there is no raise many hands are playable...

I would have played any of those hands in Early position if I could have gotten them. I couldn't even get 10,9o that's just how bad i was running for that stretch. Would you like me to send you my hand history?

No need to berate him. True, there were probably some hands he could have played. But, strange things happen sometimes.

I disagree. You won't maximize profits, but I am absolutely convinced you could make a fair amount of money at most online games by playing only AA, KK, QQ.

231? Let's compromise. Post what you think are the best 20 hands you got during that stretch. See if anyone thinks they are playable.

I'm with tech, you really cant infer this is super tight play. I've certainly had stretches of close to a hundred without a playable hand using pretty standard micro limit had selection - probably most of us have. The probability forum might give you a better idea of how unlikey over 200 is, but it is certainly within the realm of possibility.

Just beware of the old gambler's fallacy here, your not DUE for a rush of good cards!

No official records, but I know I went 110 hands without winning one in a session. I was playing hands, but I sure wasn't winning them...
