Default Bad Run at Lucky Nugget

I am (as I type) autoplaying BJ at Lucky Nugget. It has played 3500 hands and I am down to 80 units from 250 units. This seems WAY out of the ordinary. What is the standard deviation and EV for 5000 hands played? I have it set for Vegas Strip and have made the changes as listed on the bonuswhores.com FAQ.

Also, if I get down to 50 units, should I just stop playing so that I end even, or should I keep on going? It seems that I should stop because I am only expected to keep on losing.

I bought in for 50GBP at Lucky Nugget (I'm American), and finished with 36.5GBP. Blehh.

Chalk it up to shiit happens, I guess. You (we) finished in about the bottom 2-7% (I'd guess) of expected results, and we still didn't lose much, or any.

Well, I got down to the 50's and I decided to withdraw at 55 pounds (+5 overall but -195 from bonus). I figured that I could only expect to lose more and I had obviously played 20x my withdrawal (55 * 20 = 1100 necessary where as I had played over 4000). Its unfortunate that I was over 2 standard deviations away from the average.

I think in the future I will periodically compare my credits to the WR to decide when to withdraw. It seems that it is not necessary to play the whole 20 * (deposit + bonus) if you lose money. For example, if you start with 250 credits , but lose 100, you will be at 150. In this case, you would only need 20*150 = 3000 waged in order to withdraw. This might be an important thing to note for future casino whores (unless my logic is wrong somwhere).

Sorry about your bad run, aesic. I've lost the majority of times I've bonus whored the casinos, so I now stick to just two and try to ignore the tempting offers around the corner.

You actually need to wager 20 times the deposit + bonus before you can withdraw *anything.* If you started with 250 and lost 100, you would still need to wager the full 5000 before you could withdraw.

It's tough, but them's the breaks in whore and war.

Is it true that you have to play 20x the total 250 in order to withdraw? I just withdrew after approx. 4000 $1 hands. It seems to have cleared fine (I now have 0 credits in my account). Will I get an e-mail back saying I haven't wagered enough or would they have rejected my withdrawal right away?

Yea, that's a tough break. Of course, you won't complain if the 250 became 450 autoplaying...

I wouldn't stop when you reach 50, this is similar to stop losses in poker; its useless. Its even more useless in autoplay BJ than in poker, because you at least have some justification to have a stop loss; you aren't playing well or may be going on tilt. There's no such thing as tilt in autoplay BJ.

You will get an e-mail saying you haven't wagered enough. Otherwise someone could just withdraw immediately after getting the bonus. You have to play the full amount before any withdraws.

What I'm sayign thythe is that I have wagered more than 20x what I am withdrawing. Is this sufficient, or do I need still need to wager the whole 20*250, even though I am withdrawing less than 250? (I'm starting to think that I need to do the whole 20*250)

YOU MUST WAGER 5000 BEFORE YOU WITHDRAW. 5000! IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOU END WITH. THEY ONLY CARE ABOUT WHAT YOU STARTED WITH. sorry about the caps, but you clearly weren't understanding the other posts without caps. btw, i busted out of a casino already, and i have made $200 more than the bonus at one casino. bj whoring really helps you take the bad runs in poker in stride.
