I'm sorry if I'm wasting your guys' time with this, but I've e-mailed Neteller support multiple times with no response. Anyway, I just want to know if I can link a Neteller account to a savings account or if it has to be a checking account. If anyone could comment on this, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, Patrick |

I think it has to be a checking account; they ask for the routing number that appears on the checks. However, if you're worried about security, you can always open a different checking account and just load it when you want to fund Neteller.

funny thing is the answer is yes AND no in the case of my bank.
explanation: when i opened up my NETeller account we were able to have multiple bank accounts associated (ahhh, the good old days) anyway, i did a withdrawal to my savings and it hit fine. however, when i did a deposit, it was rejected. ACH reps could not really explain why i could not tranfer FROM savings to NETeller, but could withdraw TO savings from NETeller. i just removed my savings account to make sure i never "bounced" an eft again. ![]() |

Thanks for the responses, guys. I'm going to open a separate poker account regardless. I was just hoping I could open a savings instead of a checking account, but I didn't want to go open up a savings account and then not be able to use it for what I opened it for.
