JJ - UTG Crushed from both Sides!! Overaggressive?
Last Night Paradise .50-1.00, 1/2 Hour into my 4 hour session.
I hold JJ UTG I raise. EP1 Re-raises folded to BB who caps. EP1 has been known to raise in EP with any Ax. BB (Weak, folds on the river alot - chases everything). Flop - J K A (rainbow) I think I'm in pretty good shape here... I bet, EP Raises, BB Raises and I cap. Turn = 3 I bet, EP raises, BB raises and I cap. (Starting to wonder if I'm in trouble. River = 3 I think great a full-house - no more worrying about the straight. I bet, EP raises, and BB re-raises, HMMMM...I cap. they both call. EP has KK and BB with AA....I just laugh at what an amazing game we play. Took me 2 1/2 hours to make up for this beating. Came out $3.75 ahead for a 4 hour session. Did I play this too fast? Too aggressive. Should I have layed down this monster on the turn. Just curious on how others would have played this? Thanks for your replies. |

Re: JJ - UTG Crushed from both Sides!! Overaggressive?
Between them, each round was going to get capped regardless. I don't know that I'd have been able to lay it down against chasers, but... if two average players were willing to cap pre-flop and A-K showed up on the flop, you'd have to give credit that someone may have caught an overset.
