Aggression = less bluffers?
Aggression = less bluffers?
Is this statement true? In the past when I was a more passive puss. 6% PFR, 1.6-1.8 TAF I found quite a few aggressive players trying moves on me. Now that I increase my aggression I rarely run into someone trying to pull something on me. 10.5% PFR TAF 2.3-2.5 Anyone else notice this? |

Re: Aggression = less bluffers?
If your opponents are observant, then yes they will try to bluff less on you because you're more likely to reraise than to call.

Re: Aggression = less bluffers?
This is very true.
They will try to get you to lay down your hand by putting more pressure on you to just call |

Re: Aggression = less bluffers?
And they rarely if ever attack other muggers.
Aggressive players - at least those who are fairly observant - will be less likely to try to semi-bluff you with their draws for fear that you'll make it three bets. It's very rare for the loser of a fight to be the one who lands the last punch. |

Re: Aggression = less bluffers?
Thanks. I noticed from a year ago when I was a pussy with aggressiion 1.5-1.75 TAF and PRF of 5-6% that people would always try to run me over. I had some very hard decisions.
Now with TAF of 2.5 and PRF of 10% (2/4 3/6) I notice maybe I get bluffed at about once an hour (that I notice). Ahhh aggression, makes live easier. |
