Hand 1:

SB (t1980)
BB (t3515)

Preflop: Hero is Button with J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
Hero raises to t800, 1 fold, BB raises to t1400, BB calls t1105.

Flop: (t3405) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

Turn: (t3405) 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)

River: (t3405) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)

Final Pot: t3405

Can I qualify this as the gamble for first settle for third idea? Should I have open pushed?

Hero (t4810)
Button (t1780)
SB (t1410)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
1 Fold, SB pushes t1310, Hero calls
Flop: (t1300) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)

Turn: (t1300) J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)

River: (t1300) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)

1) I'd raise to 600 then fold to the resteal. In your case I would have done the same.

2) I think this is a clear fold, you have the worst hand and not much invested.

3) I'd call also. You have to best ahnd way too often here.
