I saw this play the other day and was wondering why he would do this. Thoughts? Hero is holding A8

eh...doesn't like money? BUT...occasionally the donk overbet stuff might get a quick knee-jerk call from an AQ/AJ holder. bout all i can come up with. |

But back to the original post, if the player is not a donk then he's simply moving all in to induce a call by what looks like a 'bluff' overbet. Kinda like when Mel Judah moved in on a board of 3-4-5-6-x with 9-7 to mess with Paul Phillips, who of course made the crying call with the 2. |
