MLB 7/9
I was looking at jumping on the Nats ML +105 with Patterson on the hill
Cubs at EVEN with Wood on the hill Im new at this, so any thoughts about these or any other games would be appreciated PS - I do mine at Bodog (I know, the lines are terrible, once I get serious about it Ill jump over to one that isnt -110 both ways every time) |

The Cubs may win - hell, they should win....but Wood has gotta be the biggest moneyburner over the last couple of years....how can he be even in this spot.
At +1.20 or so I'd be interested - but they NEVER make him +1.20 - I think he'd be +1.10 to the ghost of Sandy Koufax.... |

I won't comment on the WAS game since it has already started, but I'm not a fan of the Cubs today. As I noted in my post, Olsen has been really good in his two starts. Wood hasn't won a road game yet this year. People overbet Kerry Wood more than almost any other pitcher IMHO. If he came up through the minors with almost any other team, people would realize that he has the stuff of Brian Lawrence or Ben Sheets--he can be really hot but not often enough to be a great pitcher.
