Default AJ when the board pairs

Ok.. I raised the guy, he calls, but then he bets the turn... suggests that he has three of kind Tens? Would anyone just call down here?

I think HU calling down is fine. Folding would suck, so your other option would be 3 bet the turn. But that costs as much (or more) as calling down, and I wouldn't like it getting capped. The only advantage of 3 betting would be if villain folds.

I don't understand why he wouldn't 3 bet the flop after mp2 folded if he had trip 10s. Any read on him?

Because he realizes the bets double on the next round and doesn't feel like he needs to give away the strength of his hand just yet?

He gave away the strength of his hand when he bet into the PFR on the flop.
