Default Blind Defense - Check up on SOP

This is SOP for me, but I wanted to get some opinions after another big slide last night. I'm starting to think I may be too aggro in the wrong spots.

Comments on all streets are welcome.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
3 folds, SB raises, Hero 3-bets, SB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

Turn: (5 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks. (I checked the turn fearing both the K and the flush)

River: (5 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks. (I was very happy to show this one down for free.)

Too aggressive early on and not aggressive enough later?

Final Pot: 5 BB

depends a great deal on how the SB is playing, but I usually bet this river. Heads up, he could easily have been bettin a lower pair that he will pay you off with. Also, I think most people will bet a king here after yu check bihind ont he turn

What about the turn check?

It gives a free card to the flush draw.

Is it really bad?

I'm starting to think the line should be - Bet the Turn and Fold to the Raise.
