Default What is your handicap?

Is 2+2 full of a bunch of great golfers, or is everyone just a hack who likes to go out and have fun? Also, how often do you get out to play?

I play in the summer but I have no idea what my handicap is so I picked the highest. I usually shoot like 15-20 over so its probably right.

I only play 9 but I go anywhere from 40-60 depending on how my iron game is going.

If you are talking about an 18 hole round of golf, then an average 15-20 over would probably mean you are around a 15-16 handicap. The handicap is calculated by the average strokes over par of the best 10 of your last 20 rounds (at least in BC it is).

lol, thats quite the spread. I guess I do go anywhere from 33-50 on 9 holes though. Both 33 and 50 are an extreme rarity however. They only occur if I am playing absolutely amazing, or if I was gonna have a round of about 44-45 and just get pissed and stop caring. Usually I shoot around 38 for 9 holes, and 75-78 for 18.

I was a 5 at the end of last season, but it was a long winter, so I said 6-10. I only play once or twice a week when the weather permits, but I spend much more time than that around the practice green and range.

My problem is that as soon as one part of my game clicks, another thing will start goign dead wrong. Ugh. I usually go in the 50-54 range, have shotten 40 once and in the 40's a couple times. But I only in spurts. Like 5 in one week, then not again for another 2 weeks. I'm gonna play more consistently this summer tho hopefully.

My house(while I'm not away for school) is actually right on a golf course. You walk out of my back gate, and you are on the third hole. I have worked at this course for the last 5 years, and going on my 6th this summer. I am down at the course everyday, whether it be for work, or to play. I probably get 4-5 rounds in every week. I am about a 4 or 5 handicap, but I definetly feel with the amount of time I put in, I should be better.

BTW, if anyone happens to be in the Kamloops area (yea... right) and wants to play some golf, I could probably get some comped rounds.

I'm better than 0, but I AM a professional!

When I was 13, I was better than Greg Norman at 13!

I'm gonna start up again this year after about a 6 year lay off after I finished high school. I was a 12 handicap last time I played. Usually played at least once a week during the summer and practiced on some part of my game every day.
