Default Humberto Brenes- How good is he?

This guy seems to have an uncanny ability to either win, or come very close to winning in many big nl tournaments. Is he a great player? If so what makes him so good? He is possibly another very underrated player. I would take him in any BIG nl tourney over T.j., Doyle, Dutch Boyd, Scott Fshman, Antonio E., The unibomber, and Mike Mattusow. And its not even a close decision. He has clearly shown an uncanny knack of deep finishes throughout the years to say he would be a better choice than any of the ones i have mentioned. He doesn't get the recognition, but he's clearly doing something right!

Humberto plays many games very well and has a fantastic tournament record given the small number of events he enters each year. He is also a nice guy, as is Alex.

Yeah, Doyle Brunson sucks, I'd take Humberto over him every day.

In a big nl tourney you would be wise to take Humberto. In a live game i would say Doyle. Taking nothing away from Doyle but Humberto da man!
