<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets</font>, Button calls.

Final Pot: 17 BB
<font color="#009B00">Main Pot: 17 BB, between Button, Hero and UTG.</font>

the lot of these players were lossey goosies. I've seen some weird hands get turned up by the villian. Was my flop threebet wrong considering it was an action flop. Should I have checked the turn?

I think you played this fine. I like your flop 3-bet.

On the turn and river you meet no resistance. It is true that you could be up against a flopped 2-pair that gets passive on the turn and river because of the threat of a straight but I would have played it the same.

My only question is: What happened with UTG, the preflop limp/3-bettor?
