Button calls as do both blinds.

Flop T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Checked to me, I bet only BB calls

Turn K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Check Check

River 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

BB bets I raise BB 3-bets I call.

No reads, only at the table for about 4 oribits and havnt seen him get out of line.

I think its fine then. If you don't improve on the river do you call a bet?

I was pretty confident the villan was ahead on the turn or had a strong draw. I planned on raising an A or 8 folding on a total rag and folding to any scare card.

If it was checked to me and I did not improve I would have bet and folded to a check raise. If I did improve and it was checked to me I would have bet and called a check raise.

The thing with this is that he's very likely to bet after you check the turn no mattter what card comes. I struggle with this too, but HU, I think you might need to bet-fold the turn.
