Default 66 in SB--preflop

This was a situation another 2+2er was in last night and I'm not sure he handled it right.

Party 3/6, Hero has 66 in SB.

UTG +2 limps (loose passive, 80 hands 38/5/.8 or something), folded to SB who?

Note: BB is a tight, aggressive player. Handsome as all hell.

I thought SB should have raised to get rid of the BB. Not only is 66 a better holding HU but he'd like to lose the BB, no?

Thoughts?

Hero should raise then most likely go to showdown no matter what.

I think you misread the post. Hero should raise but can safely fold to most raises from a loose passive
