I am in late position. I have K92 of diamonds. 1st player calls with a queen up. Second player calls with a Jack up. Both Queens & Jacks are live. 15:30 game with $2 ante and $5 bring in. There are two diamonds out the 6 and 8. If they both call does that hurt me (because it is probable that atleast one of them has 2 more diamonds in the hole) or help me because of the additional players in the pot. if they call it doesnt help you if you put them on a flush draw also. But they could have a big pair buried. this is where knowledge of your opponent helps alot.

sure you call here. you have the king going for you as well and it is an unraised pot. so what if the 6 and 8 also call. you dont know what they have. they could have any thing in this spot. i like your hand. you are getting over 5 to 1 to hit something that makes you are favorite.

You have plenty to call $5 with, and I would probably play the hand for $15 if it were raised in front of me, especially with a couple of people in already. If you catch bad on fourth you should probably fold.
I don't think that you can make any determination of what suits your opponents hole cards are based on their action thus far. Just treat unknown cards as unknowns when determining your flush chance. Your hand will be largely defined by what falls on fourth street. |
