i'm not gonna look at the link
but yes it was his wish upon his death, he talks about it in fear and loathing in hollywood- a documentary he made in the 70s about getting fear and loathing in las vegas made into a movie. pretty funny documentary, the guy was absolutely whacked out- and it even contains a police chase just like FLLV but in real life. so i'd imagine it's gonna happen.
