New form of poker?
I saw that a casino in my area started a variation of holdem called Niagara holdem. The difference it's bet or call but no check or check raise just bet or raise if your in. How skilled is this game? I suspect someone who can play flush draws well could beat this game?

Not sure about that but I would probably think it's 4 unless it's mano a mano?

Re: New form of poker?
There's some skill, but I don't really see any bluffing potential. Assuming you just play the odds this game really plays itself.

Re: New form of poker?
Seems more like a variation of the table game Let it Ride, than a normal form of Poker.
Bluffing has 0 equity here. How do they determine the betting order? or is it all done blind of the other players? Let it ride is a game that can be beat (I think, not an expert). Not so sure about this one, seems like a lot more luck than skill. |

Re: New form of poker?
Let it ride can't be beat, the payoff structure makes sure of that.
