KK on Stars 1/2.....
I think I call down too much. How's this?
Hero has KK in early position. One player limps, I raise, MP1 3-bets, two players cold call, I cap, everyone calls. Flop is AQJ rainbow. I bet (no?) hoping for MP1 to raise and force everyone out. He does. Turn is an offsuit 5. I check/call. River is an offsuit 6. I check/call. Shouldn't I fold the river? I'm not beating much. But it's one bet in a large pot..... |

Re: KK on Stars 1/2.....
Crap, meant to post in micro. Give me a pass on this one.... Stars 1/2 is tighter and more aggressive than Party 2/4.

Re: KK on Stars 1/2.....
Preflop: good
Flop: I think this is a check call, I think all hands he he could have here, (without a read) beat you and you are now drawing here. Turn: check call River: This is a fold, without a read that the opponent is a LAG I think that nearly all hands that he could hold he beats you with here much more than 12.5 to 1 (Been drinking all day and may be counting wrong) |

Crap, meant to post in micro. [/ QUOTE ] As soon as I saw your title, I thought "Uh oh. He's gonna get in trouble!" Glad your second post saved you from the flames of 2+2ers scorned. What do you put your opponent on when he 3-bets preflop that doesn't beat you on the river? TT? QTs? I think it's a pretty safe river-fold, unless you think he's a maniac pre and post flop. Till then, you were fine drawing to the straight or maybe set. -Sam |

Re: KK on Stars 1/2.....
I like the way you played it untill the river. Your KK isn't good w/all that action pf and on the flop. check fold that river.
