Re: Philip Ivey
So impossibly lucky that he must, in fact, be quite good ... Andy. |

Re: Philip Ivey
60% luck ,40% skill- he's on a remarkable run.I'd like to pass on a little story .2 years ago at the USPC, while playing in a no-limit satellite.Tony Ma was backing David Plastik, the satwellite got down to the final 2 players.Plastik and Phil Ivey, when Plastik asked Ma what he wanted to do.Ma didn't hesitate one second and said," make a deal ,that guy has too much gamble in him" |

Re: Philip Ivey
While I'll admit that winning so many tournaments is lucky, if you had ever played with Phil, you'd know there is a lot more to it than that. |

Re: Philip Ivey
Phil might be the best stud player I have ever faced, and he dominates the 80-160 games. Before the wsop, he once offered to swap net worth's with me. I wonder if that offer is still open? |

Re: Philip Ivey
Winning THREE tournaments so far in the WSOP simply HAS to be much more than luck. Is the guy that aggressive? |
