Just a thanks to everyone who responded to an earlier thread of mine on a begginer in nolimit tourneys. saturday just goes to show how a little basic strategy goes a long way. my frist pay no limit tourney, 10$ entry fee, 15$ rebuys, and a 30$ add on after the fourth round.

long story short, pot size bets with top pair/kicker twice got folders who would have stayed for smaller bets and would have hit two pair. (people like to muck face up round here) and playing my tight limit game for starting hands got me to the final table (and the money) playing three hands past the flop. and then the luck kicked in, went allin with 64o (sb)and beat A4o (bb) with a pair of 6s on the river, a couple of other forced all ins were made and i split first and second with a guy to my left (had to i was already late for work) to win 725 off of my 40 investment.
