Baseball: LA @ Colorado (ytd 0-1, -1)
Lima is rested for LA, mostly as a precaution than a serious injury (Very tiny thumb fracture) and LA look to try to win this from their relievers (Jackson gets the start)
However, LA still needs this win and will not be slacking off. Jennings gets the start for Colorado and he has conceded runs in each of his 30 starts this year. He is an adequate pitcher but LA will be hitting him all over the park. The run line is set at 13.5 which is very high and totally dependant on how LA's pitchers perform. If Jackson can get through 3-4 innings with no real disaster they should keep this down enough to sneak the under. Today's bet: LA (-1.5) +115 Quarter point bet: Under 13.5 (-120) Lori

Well, it just isn't my week.
They left Jackson in for five inning which cost them a four run fifth. After my +280 1 run defeat in St Louis, greed cost me here. Final score LA 7 COL 6. Lori

I'm a newbie at this too so just expressing my own opinion which may or may not coincide with any of the experts who actually know what they're doing.
But I just wouldn't feel good about taking most O/E bets at Colorado. The altitude there just makes it a crap-shoot whether or not they can keep it low or have one of their patented 15-12 games. Glad you were able to win that part of the bet though.
