Dell monitor sale I saw today -- "that one" I think

Since there are MANY people here who love the Dell 19-inch monitors, I thought I'd post that today I saw in the L.A. Times a Dell ad's small print about the "Dell Ultrasharp 2001 FP 20" Flat Panel Monitor now $765 (was $899)." I think these are the ones that let you get 1600x1200 resolution.

The bottom of the ad says, "Click www.dell.com/LAOffer Call 1-877-957-3355."

Great monitor. Unfortunately I hate buying from dell since I know there has always been a better deal in the past. For example http://dealnews.com/articles/71355.html where you could have had the same monitor for 689 a week ago.

Just want to point out since affiliates are such a heated topic here, that that link is an affiliate link of an affiliate of Dell's I'm pretty sure (the affiliate being the LA times).

Personally I have no problems if an affiliate profites from one of my purchases, as long as I couldn't have gotten it cheaper elsewhere.

It's not an affiliate link. It's a link so that Dell knows what kind of a response the LA Times advertising is producing.

Damn, I wish I wouldn't have seen this. I just bought another one of these two days ago and I searched all around for a better deal than $809 couldn't find one so I ponied up.

See what I mean about dell driving you crazy? Anything under 800 is a great deal but now that I know I can get it for under 700 I just cann't spend the extra money
