my main fear was the flush draw was the check on the river correct? I was scared of a checkraise. I was going to make a crying call if bet into on the river, and didnt want to call two bbs.

Since you had 3 people call 2 cold on the flop the river bet is probably thin but I'd still grit my teeth and make it, mainly because you're hand has improved. Also, don't post the results in the original post.

I'd bet the river. The fact that 4 other people are in means that you have to win less often to make it correct to bet.

I would raise this preflop. Definitely value bet the river. You'll be called down by KJ, KT, and many worse hands, and if you get reraised, you can make the crying call. Your hand looks strong to me even before I read the results.

This hand seems pretty weak to me -- I don't see anywhere that anyone gave you any reason to think your hand wasn't best. Missed a few bets here.

Don't share results before you've received a few responses, too.

This is a routine raise preflop and a routine river bet.

It feels funny for a while, but then you get used to it. Kind of like...well, forget it. Bet the river.

If you weren't dead last to act, I might understand the river check a little. But think about it, most of the time you will gain at least one bet. Sometimes you will get 2 or 3 bets (overcalls), and sometimes you will get checkraised and lose 2 bets if you pay off (you should against most opponents).

Its pretty standard.
