Default 3/6 NL $200 max buy in

so i got about $1200 in a $200 max buyin NL game. some kid buys in for 200 and dumps 120 his first hand. 2 hands later he raises my BB all in for 80. I announce it looks like a steam raise but i dont feel like gambling with my KJ. Then some old veteran gives me a scolding of a lifetime about how much chips i have and, u have to bust small stacks when u have that kinda dough, have to make him rebuy, blah blah blah. Last ime i checked i wasnt in a tourny and my chips were worth dollar value. I didnt feal like gambling. But i have been wrong a million time and may be wrong again. any comments please.

Not sure what the question is but you're right to fold. You're losing to any ace and any pocket pair. I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that the old timer doesn't have your best financial interest in mind when he advises a call. More likely he wants you to loosen up and "spread the wealth".
