Re: $10+1, first hand
RAISE MORE PREFLOP. Unless you're willing to give him the benefit of having a set, I'd push.

Re: $10+1, first hand
Certainly the raise should be bigger with two limpers, but pushing? That's pretty drastic...how about a raise to 80-120?
As for the hand, I think you raise here. Since a raise is going to be half your stack, might as well push. |

Re: $10+1, first hand
I think pushing is a mistake here. Middle player probably going for flush, and I wouldn't be at all surprised if BB had K-X and hit two pair on the flop. I'd fold the first hand here.

Re: $10+1, first hand
Raise more preflop.
Since you didn't raise as much as you should have preflop, you can afford to get away from this hand. I wouldn't, however. You've got the best hand way too often in a 10+1. I wouldn't be at all surprised to find that they had KQo and two clubs respectively. JT is another likely holding. Don't automatically assume that you're beat here. Against the average 10+1 players I'm sure that pushing the flop is +CEV. If you think you're good enough to find better edges later on, it's not a crime to pass this one up, however. |
