Star Wars Character with greatest Jedi Powers

I have to say Emperor Palpatine. Supporting Arguments:

1) Allegedly killed his Sith master, Darth Plagis, who was renowned for his unparalleled knowledge of the Dark Side.

2) When confronted by Master Windu and 3 other Jedi, he easily disposes of the other 3 and destroys Windu with Anakin's help.

3) Was victorious in his duel with Yoda.

4) Lights up Luke in ROTJ. Is killed only when Vader turns on him. This is at best a draw, since Vader couldn't handle the Sith lightning and dies as well.

5) His plot of using the Republic to destroy the Jedi and establish the Galactic Empire, nefarious as it was, was brilliant.

All other Star Wars characters had glaring weaknesses exposed in their various head to head duels, including Anakin, Obi Wan, Yoda, Dooku, Darth Maul, and Qui Gon. Palpatine was the only consistent performer. What say you?

Sith and Jedi are basically religions. The power comes from the force.

They both get their power from the Force, except the Sith get their power from the Dark Side of the Force.

Also, in Episode II, Dooku tells Obi Wan "As you can see, my Jedi powers are far beyond yours" so they're basically the same.

I'm trying to reconcile the fact that he was the bad guy we're all scared off as a kid with the fact we know now that he was a lovesick teenager, turned into a machine, and was so crippled by his artifical limbs he couldn't saber duel worth a [censored] later in life and couldn't use Force Lightning because he had no arms...

first of all i am not as educated with star wars as yall are so if i am wrong please just correct me and not flame me.

wasn't palpatine getting worked by samuel l. before anakin stepped in and saved him? and isn't the downfall of the darkside is using emotion when fighting? i dunno, it just seems like first of all someone from the darkside doesnt have jedi powers therefore can't have the greatest jedi powers but if you were to debate who were the most powerful then it would have to be between a jedi knight and not someone from the darkside. but i am probably wrong.
