Good bluff bad bluff?

Turbo event on UB, blinds go up every 5min and play is fast paced. Gotta build a stack without the cards in these tournaments.

Preflop hero calls with 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] at UTG+1, villain raises min to 120 at utg+3, caller mid position where my read is weak/passive with drawing hands until it hits, likes 98suited type hands. sb calls and we are 4 handed to the flop.

Villain has 3k chips (buyin is 1500) and has been fluctuating between knocking people out and doubling people up. MP has 2500 and I have 1800.

I check, villain bets min (60) called by MP, SB folds, I call

I check, villain bets min (60) called by MP, I reraise to 400.

Comments on this play? Double flush draw out there and only bet mins and calls, looks to me like they want a small pot for now. If a flush doesn't hit the river I am all-in'ing the river hoping they don't slowplay the ace that horribly.

You should also be hoping MP didn't flop a boat with his 44 or A4s. Those are the only hands I see that actually make sense the way this played out.

Nonetheless, I would still be hesitant to bluff the river unless I knew MP could make a big fold (or was a chronic flush chaser) because the slowplayed A is a very real possibility.

Given your read on MP, I guess it's a good move. Strange hand (but that's how it goes in those turbos!).
