Default keep losing in 10-20 hold em game

Hi

since a while i am playing 10-20euro hold'em in the local casino of amsterdam. I almost always playing tight. The game conditions are nice most off the time but there are almost always 2 players better then me on the table. Since i started i kept loosing.
And some players said that i loose because the rake is so goddamn high (5% capped at 15euro).
is there anyone who can help me with this dilemma.

thx thomas kok

Umm, yeah, I don't think that game is remotely beatable. That rake is completely absurd.

from my online records, an average 10-20 game pot is between 100-160. mean around 130. u will pay an average of 6.5 per pot. if the game goes 40 hands an hour, and you will 10% of the hands (which is entirely normal), u will end up paying about $26 per hour - that's more than 1BB per hour. Supposedly you are really good and kills the game for 1.5BB/hr. u'd be making $4/hr without tipping the dealers. if you tip $1 / per pot (which is cheap), you'd be breaking even.

if you are not good enough to win 1.5BB/hr, you will lose in the long run.

peace.

Kenny

Yeah, I have an account on Paradise that I don't use anymore because I opened an account on Party. I mostly just screw around for an hour or two at a time, jumping around maniacally in the 5-10/10-20 6-max HE, 15-30 HE, NLH 100, PLH 100, PLO 100, PLO8 100, and 10-20 O8 games as the whim strikes me.

If there were a place in Holland where you could go and they would peel all of the skin off the bottoms of your feet and then make you stand in a tub of pickle juice singing Celine Dion songs, would you go because it was the only such place?
