Default Standard aggression or reckless?

I've been trying to work on my aggression with marginal hands like this. I feel like the flop bet is pretty much standard, but I'm not sure if betting again on the turn was right.

I would never bet into 8 people with 33. I'd hope button checks so I get a free card.

umm..i dont consider that flop bet to be standard. diff idea would be to check flop..and bet turn if junk falls and its checked to you
or..since the pots so small..its easy to just walk away from this hand.

Good that you're trying to improve your aggression. Improving doesn't mean being aggressive. It means being aggressive in the right spots. This is not one of them. Take the freebie.

Are you referring to the flop or the turn bet? Or both?

Its heads up on the turn so its good, probably has the best hand and opponent may fold.

Flop is nasty though, check!!!

Didn't notice it's HU...I'll upgrade from bad to good-ish (w/o a read).

I don't know if the play's horrible... I mean, it's a weak board, there aren't really any draws, and someone would have to have AK to have two overcards. This is a great board to bluff at. I think I'd definitely bet it if I was up against fewer players... with that many players though, I think you'd be better off just checking.

Thanks everyone. I thought this might be a good spot, since everyone was showing weakness. Villian folded to my turn bet. I'll avoid a play like this in the future. I've been needing to vamp up my aggression with marginal hands, so I figured I'd give this line a shot and then post it here to get feedback on it.
