Default An AJ hand

Party 3/6 6-Max hand.

BB here is a little to loose/passive pre-flop, and medium aggro post-flop, but not overly so. Let's say a 36/10/1.6-ish stats for this discussion.

I have A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] in UTG+1 and open-raise. Folded to BB, who 3-bets. I call.

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Villain bets. I call.

Turn: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Villain bets. I call.

River: Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Villain bets. I fold.

This hand made me feel dirty. Is there a better line?

Jon

Raise the flop and see what he does, you can make better decisions with the extra information.

I initially thought that best (that is a more typical line for me), but lately I think villain will often CC and C/R the turn with a better hand. So does that really help me?
