an issue with reading 2+2 forums
I have one problem with 2+2 on my home PC ( which uses windows 98). I do not see the problem on my work PC (windows 95). I use 5.5 of internet explorer on both PC's. I downloaded 6.0 of internet explorer at home and it did not change anything. My view of the threads is "Mixed Threaded Listing" which I believe is the default. When I click any of the threads, explorer treats the link as a downloadable file instead of a link to another web page. So instead of seeing the new page, it asks me if I want to download the exchange.pl (or whatever forum) from www.twoplustwo.com. If I cancel the download request and click on the thread a second time it works fine. This problem did seem to show up around the time the new forums were installed. Anyone see anything like this? Re: an issue with reading 2+2 forums
I can't read the forums with IE on some computers (including the one I have at home). I tried delting the cookies from twoplustwo, but that didn't seem to work. I can read the form fine using Netscape 6.0. Paul Talbot |
