Default Bankroll, level, game selection question

I have been playing about a year, and have enjoyed a fair bit of success in ring games. I usually play 2/4, 1/2, .5/1 level games on Party and Stars.

I have 1000 and am looking to maximize my play. I would like to Know what level is appropriate to play with that size bankroll, and also which site would be the best site to play on for the game, i.e. Stars, Party?

Thank you very much for you insight.

I would reccomend playing 1-2 on PP. Once you build the roll into the $2000-2500 range, give the 2-4 a shot.

with $1000 you should be bonus whoring exclusively. http://bonuswhores.com. Small stakes forum and internet forum are more appropriate.

cheers,

which made me think of this:

i love hippy music, went touring, have many hippy friends and if you decapitate oany of them im going to checkraise your ass so bad.

also, if you go around decapitating hippies you may accidentally relieve us of a bearded james282's thoughts on this board.

That's really high. The suggested bankroll for a given limits (at least for small stakes) is 300 BBs. So with 1k, you should be playing 1/2 and once you have 1.2k, then 2/4 is a good level. Bonus whoring (as highland suggested) while playing these levels will make it even more profitable.

Personally, I started with $100 playing .5/1, and I move up when I get to 500bb. Currently playing 2/4 with about $2400. 500bb feels pretty safe. With this much, the swings shouldn't bust you, nor should they affect your play.

play 1/2 for now. Add tables if you want to make more (if you're beating the game up pretty good)... Get rake back...

ummm.. that's all I have.
