Default What were the odds of this?

So I'm watching a friend play some $25 NL on party since he's not very good and wanted some advice. So he follows my advice for about 2 hours and decides my advice is no good since he's down about $50 bucks now. So now he's playing every hand when there's no raise and most hands when there's a raise. Now he's back to even. He gets 5/3o on the BB and it was raised to 3 and I tell him to fold and after thinking about it for awhile he does. Flop was 553 and he would have won a huge pot. The very next hand he gets T6s and it's raised to 3 again and he says screw it, I'm calling this time. Flop comes TT6 and he wins a huge pot. What were the odds of that?

Well, the probability of flopping a full house with two different rank cards is .00111, squaring that is 1.23 x 10^-6. I'll bet you can see the horseshoe up your friend's ass when he smiles.

Please let your friend know these odds and how much he will throw away calling preflop before it happens again.
