I am struggling with the practical application of this move when most players at the table are 20x BB. I understand how you might want to make a raise late in a tourney, but not commit a large portion of your stack. But why minraise as an open, or even more oddly as the last to act?
I also get the quasi-tactic of min-raising AA or KK in early position to entice a reraise, but it seems like an UTG minraise sets off all sorts of alarm bells these days. Help or a direction to a thread covering this would be huge. FOITNOF, -D. |
