Default Standard fold or weak tight?

1-2NL Live (NYC) last night effective stack 300
This was my very first hand so I had no reads.
I pick up KQ off in MP+1
2 limpers before it gets to me I elect to limp since people have already entered.
7 people to the flop
K 4 4 two hearts (pot 12)(I hold no hearts)
Its checked to me I bet 15
Folded to BB who calls
Turn is 9 ( pot 42) no heart, he bets 30
I call
River is a 9 (pot 102) no heart
He bets 60, I fold. I felt as if i was beat. Was that too tight? I am more passive when I first sit, but I felt as if this was standard fold. Comments an all streets appreciated.

Do not call the turn if you are going to fold the river. Depending how tough that game usually is I usually call down since 1-2 games usually play out like 25nl online.

I think you see a 4 here most of the time, maybe KJ, but if you are going to call turn, need to call river.

For starters, I think you'll do yourself favors in the long run if you fold KQ from middle position. It a hand that really looks nicer then it is.

If you choose to play, you are not playing for top kicker... you want 2 pair or a straight.

Last... you had seven people go to the flop. There's a pair on the board. You took a stab at it... someone is playing back. You're beat. If not, who cares... its a pair. Playing a big pot on a paired board with just a pair is only going to get you into trouble unless the entire table is idiots.

I would feel better playing your hand strongly if it was a raised pot. With all those limpers... there's too good a chance someone has a 4.

I would have folded to the turn bet....with that many people to the flop, someone has a 4.

right. I should have folded the turn. While i disagree. KQ is plenty good to see a flop there at that low level. Its all depends on styles. i see many flops from many positions. As long as you get rid of a hand. My mistake was no folding on the turn. I just wanted to see if i could pick up something. Which i did. He had me crushed it was obvious after i called.

I would either fold or raise this preflop. You don't want to play KQo vs a whole bunch of people.

That being said, I would fold the turn here.

I usually fold PF- KQo does not play well in multi-way pots. I either raise or fold.

BB probobly has a 4. Shutdown after the flop, and if your going to fold the river, fold the turn. Looks like he did a stop-n-go.
