why the frick i have to request a new password every time i try to log on? and why doesnt the password they send me work half the time? why!!
can i change the password to my own choice?

You shouldn't have to get a new password every time.
You can change yours by going to 'My Home' at teh top of teh page you're prob on right now, then go down your home page and find something like "Edit My Preferences". You can do it in there.
Can change a lot of other things aa well, like diplay, no of posts to show, blah blah. Choose Flat as teh default display mode for threads - much quicker to read a thread.
