99, made bet got All In

I'm trying to crush the 11$ SNG at Gaming Club.

According to "the wisdom" you should raise min. 3 BB with JJ-77 in level 4-6.

I was in the last hand at level 3 40/80, 6 left, below average stack.

SB 40
BB 80
P1 folds
p2 80
Hero raise to 240 (3 BB)
P4 Folds
SB Folds
BB Calls 240

P2 raises all in 1200

Hero (I have 650 left)

I now about the 40% rule, but 240 was not near 40% of (650+240)=890 - only about 26%, so i did'nt go all in to begin with.

Should i call that bet ?

Without a read I don't see how you can fold this getting better than 2-1 on your money.

First, this is important. If you ever find yourself with less than 10x BB (and you will often) either move all-in or fold. Generally, it's ok to do this up to 12x BB, but you might raise 3x BB normally (and it is a normal raise).

I think I might push here first in. But either way, you have Jacks. Call.

In my notes it says that you should only play the "all-in or fold"-mode, if the recommended bet is over 40% of your stack, or you are shortstacked (guess they mean < 10BB) after level 5.

But i'll guess i should have gotten all in here, or at least called the all-in bet.

And use that rule no matter what level you're at. At blinds get higher, it becomes a push/fold game more and more.

Stack < 10 BB = Push or Fold.

Makes a lot of sense, with 80/160, stack min. 1600.
