Playing from anywhere: Wireless and Satellite Internet Connections
I'm considering doing some traveling and I want to play poker "on the go".
This is a fantastic way of seeing the world btw, to anyone who may be interested. You can play poker with a satellite internet connection and a laptop pretty much anywhere. Sit in the gardens in Rome and 4-table. Woot. But I have no knowledge of laptop internet connections, satellite or otherwise. I don't know how much they cost, or what the best options are. Does anyone have any advice on this? |

Re: Playing from anywhere: Wireless and Satellite Internet Connections
Generally to interface with a satellite, you need a satellite dish... perhaps not as mobile as you were looking for?
Look into Verizon eVDO if you're looking for US Wireless broadband. Freakin |

Re: Playing from anywhere: Wireless and Satellite Internet Connections
Adam, I recently purchased a Cingular wireless card. I'll make a long story very short. I returned it. It was horrible! Perhaps Verizon is better I don't know, just do yourself a favor and stay away from Cingular.
