Local Game....Started with T1000 down too two players.
We are both dead even in chips. Opponnent is weak tight. I am dealt J6 on the BB and he limps and I check? Flop is 5 5 6 I check, he moves all in...your action? |

Re: Comments Please
I fold.
If he's weak-tight, then you've got a massive advantage heads-up. No point taking this gamble (if he's really tight, that limp could signify be a pocket-pair) when you can easily outplay him on later rounds by playing very aggressively and taking down blinds. |

Re: Comments Please
Fold. Yep fold. I definitely agree with the previous poster. If he's weak-tight (like me) you can run him over heads up.

Re: Comments Please
Why are you checking? You make this a lot easier on yourself betting. Were you check raising this hand (reasonable thing to do HU)?
This answer can not be found with anyone here. It's all about your read on the opponent. If he is truny weak tight, obviously fold. I'd say if you felt like you had any sort of advantage heads up, fold and look for a better spot. I also see stuff like this when people decide to slowplay a strong ace HU (I think that's a bad mistake). So I expect to be shown AK or AQ once in a while in a spot like this. |
