I play it exactly the same way.
This is what I mean when I say there are much more powerful ways to play a whiffed AK then blindly stabbing at the flop.

Meh, your opponent made it real easy for you.

Stupid question: what would you have done if your opponent had bet something a bit more meaningful, like 90-120 and the turn was a total blank (i.e. a 3d or something)?

Am I right to think it's an easy fold, even if he's possibly stealing?

I am thinking that the 30 is meaningless and the CB is done unless your opponent puts out a real bet, then its all down to reads. If this is the case, then I like it.

I'd fold this without much thought to a man's bet. Not some girly minbet that my dog wouldn't even crap on. I don't even have a dog.

I'd push AQ though. Preflop.

I need to start doing this more often. At the $55s+ my CBs with AK/AQ are pissing away chips. Its great when I'm holding AA though and the donks push over the top on the flop with QJ and no piece.
