Default Hello,players! General question ...

concerning higher middle-limit games.

Upon reading several higher middle limit hold'em posts,I have the impression that the hold'em games,in general, become progressively tighter as the limits increase.

Is my "impression" incorrect??

If not,is the same true for higher middle -limit stud games??

Hmmmmm---Just wondering

Thanks in advance for your replies!

Well here in Connecticut the 'higher' middle limit stud games are tighter than the lower limits, but I wouldn't call them 'tight'. I have been in some wild 15-30 and 20-40 games. I have never played higher than 20-40 so I can't comment on anything above. ( although I did watch a NUTSO 300-600 game once at Mohegan Sun where they decided to pop the ante up to 100. That's insane )

Later,

CJ

I live in an area where poker is relatively new (the lone poker room opened about two years ago). The $30/60 hold'em games aren't all that much tighter than the $3/6 and $6/12 games. High-only stud games above $6/12 are relatively rare, but the $15/30 games I've been in have played, for the most part, like the $6/12 games. Lately there has been $30/60 stud/8 several times a week. They also have $4/8 stud/8 a couple of times a week. The $30/60 is usually significantly looser than the $4/8.
