slot machine infomercial
they are selling re-tooled slots on TV now. $500 each (stretch-pay) available, but,
IF YOU ACT NOW they will reduce it to THREE easy payments of $99.95 ($300) the thing that gets me is that is is being sold as a great thing for you to let your kids throw parties with because "this is not intended to be a gambling device" there are 5 year olds playing slots on this commercial, and grandparents saying the grandkids would not come over until they bought their slot machine, but come all the time now for "Jackpot Visits". www.infomercial.com if anyone wants one. oye edit: JUST ADDED! act within next 5 minutes and they will send 200 tokens free!! |

Re: slot machine infomercial
you meant $299.85, right??
Is Caesar's sponsoring the sales of these things to try to groom future gamblers-to-be?? I would much rather have a cool, pre-1980 pinball machine. And maybe a nifty juke-box. |

i'd love one of them, but they are all from asian gaming parlors. they are the three reel variety and most pay tables are not possible to understand without a translator. that may not even work because some are thai, some from taiwaan etc. but they are refurbs and work fine. i would absolutely have bought one if it were a refurb from caesars or any US casino. that would be a collectible and much funner to play. US casinos don't resell them. they all go back to IGT (or wherever) and are recycled to newer platforms or stripped for replacement parts. |

+ S&H. Shipping alone may be more than $100, since it weighs slightly more than 100 lbs. Any clue how much it is?

Re: slot machine infomercial
you can get the used IGT's from casino's on Ebay. Mine was from the Excalibur, takes quarters (tokens just sounds cheesy) and serves as a big fun piggy bank in my basement. They cost around 1K. I'm not sure who else sells them but I know they are on Ebay or direct from here .

...serves as a big fun piggy bank in my basement... [/ QUOTE ] But what do you do when you're just trying to deposit your money and keeping winning? It could take hours to deposit $10 in quarters if you're too lucky |

Re: slot machine infomercial
ahhh, the beauty of actually having a key to the machine. If only they were universal and casinos had no surveillance.
