7stud Tourney Rules
I've never played in a 7stud tourney. What rules are enforced concerning the blinds and the first bettor? Who is first bettor? Highest upcard or the chap who is left of the big blind? How many blinds two?
If the chap who is left of the big blind is first to bet then he is betting into the Power, how does that affect his starting requirements? It would tighten them, I imagine. |

7stud Tourney Rules Revisited
Or is it that the lowest upcard is asked to bet first on the first round of betting?

Re: 7stud Tourney Rules Revisited
Stud tournaments are structured like stud cash games. Everyone antes (on the first round in a local tournament, the "dealer" antes for the table), and the low card is forced in. He can bring it in for the minimum or a full bet, just like in a cash games.
"Blinds." Yeesh. |
