Default Home Improvement Trip Report with Pics

So the patio guy finished up and I spent memorial day weekend putting in a small pond/waterall. The Patio came out much better than I expected as did the pond. I took some pics of the final product below.

The pond is currently home to 10 lucky "feeder" goldfish. If you don't know feeder goldfish are usually destined for an early death being eaten by someone's large aquarium fish. The kids love feeding them and the noise from the waterfall is a nice addition to the birds and leaves rustling on the trees.

The lawn still has not grown much - but that just means less mowing this year.

You can see the fish in the last one hopefully.

Its great that you know how to do that kind of work. I like how your backyard is totally immersed in nature. I'd still prefer a sunroom though for climate control and to keep bugs away.

Looks nice, now that the heavy lifting is done you can start putting shrubs around the yard and some flowers around the pond.

Where do you live? Depending on your climate you may be able put some really cool things in your pond.

I live in Syracuse, NY. Not much would make it through the winter from what I have read.

I plan on bringing the fish in for the winter and the plants I have to research what to do with them.

Orange,
I showed my Girlfriend this and she asked if the same stone guy did the stairs? If he did, do you have any idea where he got the materials? We have a similar patio, but have wooden stairs.

Thanks

Yeah the same guy did the stairs. He got the materials at a local place, but I believe the brand name/system is called Vers-Lok.
