20/40: bottom set gets stop and goed.
20/40 4 handed on eurobet. I've been absolutely card dead, and the few hands i've been able to play i've folded before showdown. I'd say my opponents probably view me as weak/passive. Button in the hand is a tough customer: loose preflop standards, tricky and aggressive postflop.
I raise 6h6d utg. Button three bets. SB cold calls. I call and it's 3 handed. Flop 6c 9c Qs. SB checks, I bet, Button raises, SB folds, I three bet, Button calls. Turn 7d. I lead, he reraises, I call. River Kd I check/call. Final pot: 14BB After he raises the turn, is there any other line I can really take? Any hand he was reraising preflop and then raising that turn is probably beating me and I'm drawing to two outs. Is that too weak to assume? I have to go to showdown though with the pot as it is, don't I? Anyone take a totally different line? |

Considering folding this is sooooo bad. I go for a flop c/r, I don't want to face the SB with calling 2 bets. The way you played it, 3-bet the turn. edit: and there's only 4 sixes in the deck |

Re: 20/40: bottom set gets stop and goed.
I would think his most likely hands are JTc, AQc, KK or AA.
I would off the cuff estimate that it is 3 or 4 times more likely he has one of the above hands than a set. Or five times. I wouldn't be too afraid of the turn, but the river is pretty scary, I wouldn't put more than 2 bets in. |

Re: 20/40: bottom set gets stop and goed.
3bet the turn and it's not close - given your description there is a very wide range of hands that you can beat that would raise the turn.
