Casinocom.com Custom Chips
I am interested in ordering custom poker chips from casinocom.com. I like the multi-colored edge spots they offer but the rumor is that they are not reliable. There is a message of the front page of their website saying that they had problems but are back to being normal again. It's actually a very interesting letter.
My question is, does anyone recommend not doing business with these guys? Their homepage looks really generic. I was directed here by another fourm because apparently, a lot of the users here really know poker chips. Also, they said the mold on their chips is a "peacock" type mold. Any info would be appreciated. |

Re: Casinocom.com Custom Chips
In addition to casinocom.com not having a good track record those chips are manufactured by Blue Chip. Blue Chip is a very flakey company. So ordering from one poor company that is reselling products from another poor company doesn't sound like a great idea. Do a user name search for italianstang and read about his custom order from Blue Chip.
There are several group-buys getting together here now. Check those out. If you are looking for total custom clay's Pokerchips.com and TR King are really the only 2 choices that are not Blue Chip. |

Re: Casinocom.com Custom Chips
They have been out of business for over 6 months now. I haven't heard of anyone EVER doing business with them. If you like the chips with edge spots, those are blue chip chips. Blue chip is also somewhat unreliable, does not have a website. You could probably find their phone number by doing a search on here. Not recomended though.

I had a discussion with the owner (Jack) last week! I agree with Lumpy, they are not the most reliable or professional organization out there. I attempted to order custom chips from them about a year ago, but decided against it for these reasons. J5 |

Re: Casinocom.com Custom Chips
Their edge spotted chips look like they're made by Blue Chip. Not a whole lot wrong with that, other than the fact that Blue Chip are reportedly sort of flakey to deal with.

Re: Casinocom.com Custom Chips
I've got some old BPC.com samples that are ASMs, but their new Modern Clays do indeed look like Blue Chips.
Like I said, nothing really wrong with them, 'cept that they're reportedly flakey to deal with. |
