3/6 6m river bluff
This villain is 40/20/2.2 and wtsd = 35.1%.
I raise A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] UTG and am 3-bet by the Button. The blinds fold and I just call. Flop: T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] I check, he bets, I raise, he 3-bets, I call. Turn: 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] I check, he bets, I call. River: T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] I check, he bets, I raise |

Re: 3/6 6m river bluff
I think your play is pretty bad on all streets. Cap it PF. I will CAP this flop too vs. this opponent. I will lead the turn & call a raise then c/c the river unless I hit in which case I will go for a C/R on the river. I think your river raise is spewage. I think he is NOT folding & I don't think you have the best hand.

Re: 3/6 6m river bluff
I cap flop and lead. Also cap preflop.
I hate your river raise because he is almost never folding. by the way went to showdown takes at least several thousand hands to converge. my went to showdown today over 971 hands was 33 but my went to showdown over 30K hands was 37.4. |

Re: 3/6 6m river bluff
Value on the flop (probably > 60% against his range) fold equity on the turn.
The alternative is to just call a 3bet and checkraise if/when you hit but you give up fold equity on the turn. |

Re: 3/6 6m river bluff
I don't like the river raise. For one more bet, villain probably is not folding any pair. Against someone capable of making folds (like this guy, based on his WTSD), I think a turn bluff will be much more effective (but obviously not on this board).

How so? [/ QUOTE ] You don't think that I have the best hand but you want me to put in bets when I'm behind? |
