Default How much to raise with KK? Follow up on recent AA discussion

You'll like this hand, I'm sure.

Paradise $33 SNG. Level 2, 20 BB, most stacks near T1000.

I have KK in the cutoff. Several limp for the 20. I'm not screwing around anymore today, after taking beat after beat all day long. I make it 150. Button reraises to 400. SB cold calls it all. So does EP limper. I reraise all-in. Button goes over the top all-in (he had a few hundred more than I did). SB and EP both call.

So anyway, I initially raised the limpers 7.5 times the BB. How's that?

I know it will just drive you nuts if I don't tell you who had what...

That'll be in the results post.

Anyway, I had KK. The reraiser on the button had QQ. The SB had TT and the EP caller had AKs. I nearly quadrupled when the kings held up.

Sounds like it's more or less a pot-sized raise (or just over), no? If so I think it's the right move most of the time.

Wow, they held up?

Guy.
